The Founder of Tower Urology and a Pioneer with 50+ Years of World-Renowned Urological Expertise
Dr. Dudley Danoff was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He attended Princeton University, graduating Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude, and was also a member of the Scientific Honorary Society – Sigma Xi. He received his medical training. He received medical training at the Yale University School of Medicine, graduating with the highest honors and becoming a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honorary Society.

He completed his internship at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center and then returned to Yale-New Haven Medical Center for additional general surgery training. He then completed his urologic training and fellowship at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City. Following this, Dr. Danoff served in the United States Air Force as a Major.
Following his military service, Dr. Danoff arrived in Los Angeles, joined the clinical faculty at the UCLA School of Medicine, and served there for more than 25 years. At the same time, Dr. Danoff established the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Tower Urology Medical Group at the newly built Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Today, Tower Urology is the most prestigious group of urologic surgeons, comprising 11 partners who cover the full range of urologic disciplines.
Dr. Danoff’s extensive surgical experience and expertise, particularly in treating prostate, kidney, and bladder cancers, have achieved worldwide recognition. He is widely published, the author of two best-selling books, has lectured worldwide, and is a respected community philanthropist.
