It feels like the patient load is so high that you are on a frenzied timer. My care was impacted when the my dr. Was on vacation and the doctor covering her did not call me to tell me my test results necessitated me starting antibiotics, so when cvs called me, I called and was told that my test results were fine and instructed not to take it. My condition grew worse. On another occasion I was told I needed to get a shot in my buttocks, the nurse said the doctor told her it was OK to give me 2 shots, so I wouldn't have to come back. She wound up giving me two painful shots on my back hip area, I questioned it after she injected the first. She maintained it was my buttocks, it was not!! I had pain fir many days and couldn't not rest or sleep on my back.

I have been in and out of Tower Urology for many years, taking a
hiatus and seeing another urologist in a different area of LA.
I came back to Tower Urology because my dr (Anger) moved out of town, and....
Dr.Rusnack had terrific reviews. Dr. Rusnack is a terrific physician
and a very good person, and the latter for me is most important.
If it weren't for her, I would not go to this facility, because the examination
rooms are too old, and too small, too unorganized, too uncomfortable,
and downright tacky. I think Tower Urology is part of Cedars? For such
a prestigious hospital, it is unthinkable that patients and Drs. work in
this kind of environment.
Of all the offices that I've been to at Cedars, and unfortunately I have
many drs., these offices are the worst. I think the administrators should
take a look at how cramped the exam rooms are, how in need of a
facelift, a paint job and new flooring. And open up the spaces. Take a
look at the bathrooms as well.
I meant to write a review but I never got around to it, so I'm happy to
be able to share my thoughts with you.

I have been a patient of Tower Urology for 15+ yrs. Susan Rusnack is my Dr. I had always been told to come to the office and leave a urine sample if I thought I had a UTI. When I went over they said I needed an appt to leave a sample. Luckily there was a cancellation and I could come back at 3:30. I had great care from the staff and Dr Rusnack. My recommendation is that a letter or email should be sent to patients to let them know to call and make an appt first to drop off a sample I was never informed and was so frustrated and in pain. Otherwise, I have always been very happy and felt well taken care of with my care at Tower Urology. Thank you.

There are too many patients at any given time and it doesn't feel like there is enough staff or too much staff (drs. in one place). I like Dr. Susan Rusnack a lot, but sometimes I honestly wish she was in a different office. It always feels chaotic when I am there. It is nice to be in a quiet place when seeing a doctor. Dr. Rusnack is outstanding. She thoroughly explains everything during the examination and patiently answers any questions. I never feel rushed at my appointments with her. I have worked in the medical field on the operations/administration side and her bedside manner is outstanding. Her staff (Estelina) is professional and very helpful too.

The wait is just too long. I really love Dr. Rusnak, she is a great doctor, but I waited 2 hours to see her. People who work really can't do that. It's not Dr. Rusnak's fault, it's something with the scheduling. Too many people scheduled for too little time. Really needs to be addressed by the folks running Tower Urology.

I’m a workers compensation patient from the City of Los Angeles, Dr. Mee was my physician for over 30 years. I’ve never had a problem with billing until the last couple of years. The person in billing is very rude to me, fails to respond to my adjuster, neglects to properly submit a billing to INTERCARE. Threatens to take me collections, fails to properly manage causes me enormous amount of stress. The office manager complains about me to Espy, who then threatens to deny my medical procedure which I get every 3 months. The billing department mails me the bill. The problem is not INTERCARE it’s the person who is overseeing the billing department. With Dr. Mee I never had a problem with worker’s compensation payments for over 30 years, but now it’s an issue. I don’t appreciate the sarcasm and unprofessionalism from a couple of office staff members. When I try to leave a message for Dr. Leach, Espy refuses to leave a message for him. Things have really changed since Dr. Mee retired. Please fix the billing department and stop threatening me.

My only note is that some nurses are more gentle putting in the catheters. It's always better for me if the nurse takes time and slowly inserts the catheter. When done more gently, it doesn't hurt as much. Thank you.
