My parents and I absolutely love Dr. Leach. He is a great doctor with a wonderful bedside manner. We also like Erik who comes in once a month to work with Dr. Leach. However, the front staff is terrible. The two girls at the front desk who “helped” us the last time we were there were so rude and disrespectful and useless. I don’t have anything positive to say about the woman who makes the appointments for Dr. Leach so I won’t say anything. We waited in the waiting area for two hours and ultimately my mother, 84 years old in a wheelchair, didn’t see the doctor. They were dishonest with us about what was happening. Somebody made a mistake, but nobody wanted to acknowledge that or take accountability. We have not rescheduled with the doctor due to our experience with the front office staff.
I really hope that this message gets passed along to the doctor. He is not being represented well. If somebody would like to call me and I will elaborate on what happened the last time we were there I’m happy to discuss it in more detail.

I was told that Sandra Lorenzo would contact my insurance co. and negotiate a better price for a very expensive drug. she never got back to me and finally when she did she didn't give me a time line or help my understand her process. When I left her a follow up voice mail, once again I haven't heard from her. I am now without the medication and haven't heard back as to whether the doctor will give me more samples until this is resolved. Dr. Leach is wonderful but this particular staff member is lacking good patient relations.

Have been going to Tower Urology for many years. I like Dr. Leach very much. There have been times when I think there are tests done in order to run up the bill, but as I like the doctor, will let that pass. There are a few things I do not like. During COVID (and perhaps now, too) a staff member stands by the door and asks your name and birthdate for everyone to hear. Outrageous. A breach of privacy. And he wasn't all that nice. Also, the waiting room is full of people who seem seriously ill. Granted, it is a doctor's office so what can one expect...but there are times I can't wait to be called in to my appoointment. It can be both depressing and unsettling. Oh, and one time I had a question for the business office and I cannot say that was a good experience. They were condescending and dismissive to my questions. But, as I say, I like and trust the doctor.

My only real problem is that it impossible to speak to a doctor by phone, they are NEVER available. I have just missed a call from them and called back in minutes but could not speak to them. Often even the folks at the front desk are not available and so I must leave a message. I have yet to receive a call back. I usually come in to the office if I have and problem or questions. That has been the only way I can speak to someone.

You must overbook because there is always way too long of a wait time. Add to this the fact that you do not validate for parking is not appropriate. As a patient I do not appreciate having to pay $18 to park my car when I was on time and had to sit in the waiting room for the doctor, whom I like by the way.

Dr. Leach is great: knowledgeable and caring. The other doctors I have consulted at Tower range from excellent to incompetent, including the one who told me 16 years ago that I needed to have the entire prostate removed ASAP. All these years later, the tumor remains "clinically insignificant" and has never been a factor in my life." (I have periodic appointments to assess the progress, which so far has been none.) I resent the casual way in which that doctor recommended unnecessary and life-altering surgery. He showed no compassion and was not aware of the latest research.
